INTELLIGENT, REAL-TIME ALERTS
Synapse intelligently protects your UAV from issues that could arise with its propulsion system. By monitoring parameters such as voltage, current, and temperature, Synapse detects when performance thresholds and safe operating limits have been surpassed.
Immediately, the system autonomously alerts the autopilot to take action, keeping your craft safe. Whether it is emergency landing from an overheated motor, or popping a parachute from temperature spikes, Synapse keeps your craft and its surroundings protected.
CONDITION-BASED MAINTENANCE MADE EASY
Synapse’s built-in black box flight recorder offers on-board data logging. Flight data is automatically recorded and easily accessible to support routine UAV maintenance, and further enhance flight safety. This data can also be used to easily track all aspects of your flight history, keeping this information both transparent and accessible as tighter regulations are introduced for industrial UAV operators.

Our mission is to break down this barrier, so we advanced beyond the traditional electronic speed controller (ESC). Synapse’s proprietary algorithms paired with our precise commutation formula, keeps your craft in the air longer. For the same amount of thrust, our single-board solution requires up to 10% less power than traditional ESCs.

Yes. Agile is currently evaluating the value of Synapse in applications outside of UAVs and drones. The team has received strong feedback for the system’s potential use in robotic arm and ground vehicle applications.
An Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) is an essential component of modern multi-rotors, UAVs and RC vehicles that directs high frequency, high resolution 3-phase AC power to the system’s motors.
A Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) is an integrated circuit (IC) designed to be configured by a designer after manufacturing. FPGAs have vastly wider potential than programmable read-only memory chips.
